Hallows Night is a small independent shop with one job: make sure the house you decorate is the one people remember.

Why we only do October

Most stores sell Halloween the way they sell everything else — a seasonal aisle bolted onto a catalog of garden furniture and phone cases. You end up scrolling past four hundred near-identical plastic pumpkins with no way to tell which one will actually read from the street at night.

We went the other way. A short, deliberate list. Every piece here had to answer one question before it earned a spot: what does this actually do on the night?

• Does it read from the sidewalk after dark, or only up close in daylight?
• Does it move, glow or make a sound — or is it just an object sitting there?
• Will it survive being put up, taken down, and stored until next October?

Anything that couldn't answer didn't make the cut. That's the whole editorial policy.

How we think about a haunt

A good setup is layered, not crowded. There is one thing that stops the car — the twelve-foot silhouette, the figure at the end of the driveway. There is something that moves or reacts, so the walk to the door isn't safe. There is light doing the work the daylight used to do. And inside, there are small details that keep the theme going without turning the living room into a haunted attraction.

That's why the store is organized the way it is: Yard Haunt, Animated & Sound, Glow After Dark, Haunted Home. Not by product category — by the effect you're trying to get.

Straight answers about who we are

We are a small online operation. We are not a warehouse chain and we don't pretend to be. Orders are packed and shipped to customers worldwide, the United States included, and shipping is free on every order with no minimum.

What we promise, and what we don't

We promise the things we control: honest product pages, free shipping, tracking on every order, 14 days to change your mind, and a real person answering the email.

We don't promise that a carrier will never be late, or that customs will never take an extra day. When something goes wrong, we tell you what happened and we fix it.
